Who we are

YOUR TECH MADE EASY is a publishing brand operated by Simone Andrea Pozzi, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. We publish plain-language tech guides for everyday people.

What data we collect

We collect as little data as possible:

  • Contact form: When you send a message through our contact page, we receive your name, email address, and message content. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • No accounts: This website does not require user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind.
  • Analytics: If you accept "Analytics" in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, device type, country). This data is anonymous and helps us improve the guides. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.
  • Email subscriptions: If you subscribe to receive guide updates or download companion resources, we collect your email address through MailerLite, our email service provider. Your email is used solely to send you the content you requested. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
  • No cookies: This website does not set tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use localStorage (not a cookie) to remember your font preference.

How we use your data

If you contact us, your name and email are used only to reply to your message. If you subscribe to updates, your email is used only to send you guide updates, new releases, and occasional tech tips. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

Third-party services

Our guides are sold through third-party platforms (Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play Books). When you purchase a guide, those platforms handle the transaction under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details.

MailerLite: We use MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, registered in Ireland) to manage email subscriptions. When you subscribe, your email address is stored on MailerLite's servers. MailerLite may collect technical data such as your IP address and email engagement metrics (opens, clicks). See MailerLite's Privacy Policy for details.

This website can optionally load custom fonts (Source Serif 4 and DM Sans) from Google Fonts. When you accept "External fonts" in the cookie banner, your browser contacts Google's servers to download the fonts, and Google may log standard access data (IP address, browser type). If you decline, the site uses your system's built-in fonts instead. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. You can change your preference at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

Data storage and security

This website is hosted on Vercel (based in the United States). Contact form submissions are processed but not stored in a database. We do not maintain a customer database.

Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law (nDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Since we collect minimal data, there is usually very little — if anything — to disclose. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted on our updates page.
